Bangalore, 3rd August – EMMA India Corporation has announced the second and final leg of the EMMA India Car Audio Competition, christened as EMMA India Goa 2024, scheduled to be held on October 16-17 at the Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Taleigao, close to Panjim.
Acronym for European Mobile Media Association, EMMA represents the top echelon for car audio competitions globally for over two decades and is active in over 40 countries worldwide via its affiliate network.

EMMA India Goa 2024 aims to build on the resounding success of the inaugural EMMA India 2024 competition held in Chennai earlier this year, which saw nearly 100 competitors from across the country taking part across the two-day extravaganza. Celebrating the fusion of technical prowess and innovation in music reproduction, this iteration promises to be even more thrilling – ready to inspire, challenge, and connect the brightest minds in the car audio industry.

The ultra-modern Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium in Goa will play host to the EMMA India Goa 2024, elevating the scale of the event and organisation to a whole new level, with organisers armed with loads of learning from the inaugural edition held in Chennai. EMMA Judge training, which is one of the most critical aspects of the EMMA competition, has also been scheduled in Goa on 19-20 October – with the curriculum being headed by EMMA International Head Judges. Over the course of two days, judges will take a deep dive into the latest EMMA rulebook and new audio content, which debuted at EMMA Salzburg earlier this year, elaborating on what it takes to build and tune an exceptional car audio setup – a must for installers and tuners looking to compete in EMMA competitions and improve their craft to the next level.

With EMMA India Goa 2024 preparations already underway, EMMA Global CEO Alex Klett is happy with the way the competition has progressed in the country in less than a year’s time. Alex commented, “I am proud to see the next step coming in India. After the fabulous launch it is now the time to reach the next level. With the growing support for the EMMA Industry partners and the increasing experience of the team, the coming events will become more and more professional.”

Once again operations for EMMA India Goa 2024 will be headed by EMMA India CEO, Karthik Raj – a seasoned professional in the car audio industry and one of the EMMA Global Head Judges. He remarked, “Our Intent is loud and clear. It is to change the car audio and aftermarket industry from an unorganised sector to an organised and professional service sector.”

On Sunday, October 27th, the EMMA Benelux Finals will take place! This is the event where we compete for the title of champion of the Netherlands or Belgium in the various categories that EMMA offers. If you have competed earlier this year, you can battle to become the champion in your class for your country and secure a spot in the European Championship, which will be held in May 2025 in Salzburg, Austria.

But don’t worry, even if you haven’t participated in our competitions this year, you are still welcome to join the event. You won’t be able to compete for the championship title, but you can still measure your skills against the champions!
